Creech Castle Collision: Two in hospital after serious Taunton crash

A man and a woman were rushed to hospital last night following a three-vehicle collision in Taunton.

The collision happened at Creech Castle at 6.17pm.

The pair were trapped together in one of the three vehicles involved.

Fire crews used cutting equipment to rescue the man first. They then had to remove the roof of the same vehicle to rescue the woman trapped inside.

Paramedics were on the scene and the pair were taken to hospital by ambulance.
