Brown treble is not enough

Carl Brown scored a hat-trick for Bishop's Cleeve, but Taunton fought back from two goals down to share the points at Wordsworth Drive in Division One South & West of the Evo-Stik Southern League.

Cleeve took the lead after nine minutes when Brown latched onto a through ball from player-boss Alex Sykes.

Just after the half-hour, Brown extended the lead following a good run.

Taunton pulled one back soon after half-time through Rodney Marsh and they equalised in the 74th minute when Peter Knox headed home.

Six minutes later, Bishop's Cleeve were back in front when Brown shot home to bring up his hat-trick.

However, eight minutes from time, Marsh equalised from a Jon Vance free kick.
