Money stolen from Taunton Asda's self-service machine

A customer at Asda's Taunton branch had £50 stolen from them in cash-back.

On Friday November 30, a customer at the Taunton supermarket requested £50 cash-back from a self-service till. The customer then left the store at around 6.40pm, forgetting to take the money.
Someone else proceeded to take the cash and made no attempt to return the money to staff.
Police have examined CCTV footage from the superstore and have identified a man who may have important information regarding the crime.
A Police spokesperson said: "The theft was reported to us and an investigation was launched. CCTV enquiries have identified someone who might have important information which could help us.
"We are asking this man, or anyone who recognises him, to contact PC Mike Tipper on 101."
