Residents were evacuated from a block of flats in Taunton yesterday night after a blaze started in the third floor flat.
Fire crews arrived at the 120 meter high building in Crescent Way, Taunton at 12.00am where they confirmed smoke was coming from the building.
They were unsure if anyone was still inside the building.
All residents were then accounted for and no-one was injured.
Three fire engines from Taunton along with the hydraulic platform and incident command unit from Wiveliscombe were mobilised to deal with the incident.
Fire crews extinguished the blaze using an attack jet and four breathing apparatus wearers. They then isolated the utility services to the flat and ventilated the property.
The fire's cause is now under investigation by the Fire Service and Police.
