Taunton Blackbrook Pavilion
The Blackbrook Pavillion where Amy's Mum works and only yards away from the scene of the accident, is holding a "Run 4 Amy" event on Sunday 28th August 2011 and asking people to sign up for a fiver and walk, run,or crawl for one mile beginning at either 10.30am or 12 noon.
All proceeds will be split between Somerset Sight, because Amy volunteered at their charity shop, RoadPeace a charity that helps the victim of road crashes and their relatives, and to help her brother Ben through his studies at Richard Huish where he will start in September.
There are already loads of people signing up for this, including me, so why not join us and show your support to help something good come out of this great tragedy.
I think it's a lovely way to remember this highly thought of young lady who is missed by so many, I never had the pleasure of meeting her as far as I recall, but the outpouring of positive statements from those who knew her has been immense and touched everyone.
Sponsorship forms will be available at Blackbrook Pavillion with a minimum donation of £5.

I regret I will not be able to Run 4 Amy on Sunday afterall, I am not able to get there now due to injury. I hope there will be plenty of support and all good wishes go to her family on what will ,I am sure, be a very emotional day.
