Well done to the players and management of Taunton Town Football Club who know the true meaning of Christmas, they brought some Christmas cheer to the Childrens' Ward at Musgrove Park Hospital in Taunton when they visited to distribute presents to the young patients. The gifts were bought by the club with money raised from a ground collection during their match with Cinderford in December.

All players, directors and staff also made a donation, resulting in a grand total of just under £550 being collected. The money was then used to buy a variety of presents including cuddly toys, books, sweets, toiletries and a CD player for the ward.
Chairman Kevin Sturmey said:" I'm pleased to say we raised even more money this year than last year when we first had a collection for the Childrens' Ward. Hopefully the gifts helped cheer up the children who unfortunately had to spend Christmas in hospital."
