The Mayor and Mayoress of Taunton are leading a four mile sponsored walk this October to raise money for charity.

Taunton Mayor Terry Hall and Mayoress Ann Hall
They are walking in memory of their son Dr Mark Hall, who died in America three years ago.
Mark was carrying out extensive research into childhood leukaemia before he died and his parents, Mayor Terry Hall and Mayoress Ann Hall, wish to commemorate him by raising money for Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research.
The group will be walking from The County Cricket Ground, Priory Bridge Road, Taunton and will conclude back at The Cricket Ground four miles later where afternoon tea will be served.
Mayor of Taunton, Terry Hall said: "Please join us to walk in memory of a loved one, to celebrate a life saved or simply for a great day out.
"Come along to our four mile walk and enjoy the beautiful scenery and wildlife while raising funds to help beat blood cancer."
The walk will take place on 21 October 2012 and those attending are asked to be at the Cricket Ground for 1.30 pm.
Everyone is welcome to join the couple in their fundraising venture including well behaved dogs, on the condition that they are kept on leads.
Sponsorship forms can be downloaded online from the Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research website or picked up from The Deane House Reception in Taunton.
Completed forms should be returned to Deane House or posted to Mr Southwood 58 Rivers Road, Yeovil, Somerset, BA21 5RJ.
