Three Taunton parks win prestigious awards

Taunton and Wellington parks will see flags raised tomorrow after winning prestigious awards.

Vivary Park, Taunton
Vivary, Victoria and French Weir Parks in Taunton all received the Green Flag Award earlier this month which is set up to reward high quality open spaces.
Mayor of Taunton, Councillor Terry Hall, will perform a ceremony in each of the parks tomorrow celebrating the well maintained and managed green expanses.
The ceremonies start in Victoria Park at 10am, leaving for Vivary Park at 10.20 and travelling to French Weir at 10.55.
The award-winning Taunton Deane parks are among a record number receiving the Green Flag Award this year.
