Taunton remembrance day procession 2012

A procession will take place in Taunton for Remembrance Day 2012, led by the Mayor and Mayoress of Taunton Deane.

Taunton Remebrance Day - Vivary Park Memorial
On Sunday 11 November the civic party will solemnly lead people from St Mary's Vicarage in Taunton to St Mary Magdalene Church at 9.15am.
The remembrance service will start at 9.30am.
After the service, the Mayoral party will travel by car to the old Mnicipal Buildings in Corporation Street where the group will take the salute on the steps at 10.30am.
Immediately after the parade has passed, the party will travel to The Lawns Club, formerly The Royal British Legion Club, for another short procession to Vivary Park for the Service of Remembrance at 11am.
Everyone is welcome to attend and all local groups and organisations are encouraged to send a representative.
