Taunton's Brewhouse Theatre to close after tonight's Jane Eyre production

Taunton's beloved Brewhouse Theatre is due to close after tonight's performance, it has been revealed.

Dozens of members of staff are being made redundant from Taunton's Brewhouse Theatre
55 members of staff have been made redundant and the theatre's last showing will be tonight's production of Jane Eyre.
All scheduled performances after tonight have been cancelled.
Many people have taken to twitter to share their sadness about the demise of this community theatre.
John Holmes @hi_JKH, tweeted: "Very sad news that The Brewhouse theatre in Taunton has gone into administration - hope the staff get treated fairly."
AngelOfTruth @daghornleghorn, tweeted: "Mark just heard that Brewhouse Taunton is closing tonight - Administrators called in - Was looking fwd to Friday :("
Matthew Prentice @MrMPrentice, tweeted: "Can't believe the Brewhouse Theatre has gone into administration!! Shocked as it is such a shame. Really enjoyed performing there."
The theatre, which is a registered charity, blames funding cuts for its closure.
