Taunton eight-year-old swims 22 miles for charity

Eight-year-old Morgan Edwards from Taunton has spent the past month swimming lengths at St James' Pool for charity.

Morgan Edwards finished swimming the equivalent of the English Channel for her chosen charity 'Aspire' this month
Last Saturday was Morgan's eight birthday, and she could happily put her feet up and relax for the first weekend in over a month.
The young swimmer, from Taunton School covered an amazing 22 miles – the equivalent of the English Channel – spending every Saturday since early September swimming for charity at St James' Pool.
The year three pupil raised a fantastic £435 for the charity 'Aspire' who support people with spinal chord injuries.
To mark her achievement, Tone presented Morgan with two months' free membership.
