Team members at the Wilkinson store, situated on East Street, Taunton, welcomed a special visitor to the store recently as they held a fun-packed charity weekend for the RNLI and raised over £340 in the process.
RNLI mascot, Stormy Stan, recently joined the Wilkinson Taunton team as an honorary member.
Stormy Stan, the charity's mascot, joined the store as an honorary team member for two days to raise awareness of the RNLI, the charity that saves lives at sea. RNLI merchandise was also available to buy throughout the weekend.
Darren Bowden, store manager at Wilkinson in Taunton, said: "The team loved having Stormy Stan join us for the weekend and he did a great job of raising awareness of the RNLI to our customers.
"Visitors to the store were incredibly generous and helped us to raise a great amount of money for this very worthwhile cause, which we as a team chose as our regional charity of the year."
Ros Whitlock, corporate partnerships manager at RNLI, said: 'As the charity which saves lives at sea, we rely on the generosity of the public to help provide a lifesaving service around the country's coast so are very grateful to the team members at Wilkinsons in Taunton for their continued support."
