The M5 in Somerset is closed in both directions between junctions 25 and 24, due to the serious multi-vehicle incident.
Signed diversions are in place for both directions of travel. Southbound traffic is being diverted off the M5 at J24 and rejoining at J25 via the A38. Northbound traffic is being diverted off the M5 at J25 and rejoining at J24 via the A38.
The road will remain closed until it is deemed safe to reopen it which may not be until Monday
