NEW CHARITABLE FUND TO IMPROVE PATIENT CARE AT MUSGROVE PARK HOSPITAL
Musgrove Park Hospital's Charitable Funds have earmarked £60,000 for projects which will make a difference to patients.
Individual staff, wards and departments will be able to bid for up to £3,000 each to improve patient care in their area.
Martine Price, the hospitals, Head of Patient Experience said: "We know from feedback from our patients that it is often the small things that make a significant impact on the quality of care for our patients. Staff often feel frustrated that they cannot take forward those changes because it has a cost associated with it which they cannot fund.
"Teams and individuals can now bid for up to £3,000 for new projects which will improve patient experience and patient safety. We are very grateful to Charitable Funds for providing the £60,000.
