The Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes is a fraternal organisation. Our objects are to raise funds to supports our widows, orphans, elderly and sick members as well as donating consideable amounts of money to outside charities. In Taunton there are lodges which meet on Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday evenings at Trinity Club, Trinity Street, Taunton and a Sunday morning lodge which meets at Taunton Town FC at the moment. We are always seeking new members and we would always welcome members who are no longer active in the area. We know that there are many such people and the hand of friendship is offered to all.

The Provincial Grand Primo (PGP) 2010, Bro Neal Potter KOM raised a little over £3000 in his year of office. This will be divided between Moorhaven Residential Home Residents' Amenities Fund and CLIC Sergeant.

Each year the PGP nominates a charity or charities for which he will raise funds. This year Bro Ian MacDonald ROH has nominated the Conquest Riding Centre and would like to raise £3000 to buy 2 horses. Anything above that figure will be used towards providing shelters for the horses.

Not in response to my posting of 20th January it is true but the Unity Lodge of the RAOB GLE initiated their first Brother for several years. He was 18 year old George Benson and was initiated by his grandfather Bro Tony Wiggins ROH past PGP of Exeter. 6 PGP's of the Taunton Province and one from the Exeter Province were there with a goodly number of lodge members and visitors from other lodges in Taunton.

The upward membership trend continues on Sunday when another member will be initiated in to the Monument Lodge.
