Welcome to Taunton Louise, I am sorry but I'm an oldie compared to you but sure you will soon make new friends, there are lots of thing to do and places to go to meet people. I hope you enjoy being a part of tauntonpeople too.

Hi
Thought i'd jump into the discussion as someone more likely to be closer to your age. I did my GCSEs 2 years ago, which school/college are you at?

ReportHi Antonia and welcome to tauntonpeople, I am interested in your profile remark that Taunton is small with not much to do...what would you like to see for your age group?

Hey
Generally we think that unless you want to spend your evenings in perkin or bliss there isnt that much to do although we do occasionally do bingo :)
We love it when the ice rink is here and a more modern swimming pool would be really nice, also a good cinema that isnt so expensive, now my friends and I have taken to going to the cinema in Bridgwater because a supreme 3D ticket costs half what a normal ticket at the odeon costs.
Just a few ideas

ReportIt's a shame we lost the Perfect 5th, I think they are still talking about a better pool aren't they? I think it would be great if there were evening sessions for under 25s or something and a cyber cafe,a place for teens/young people to hang out that doesn't involve alcohol. Or maybe a roller rink, we have a a skate park but a roller rink would be for everyone.

Totally, I loved the perfect 5th! They seem to have been talking about a better pool for ages though so im not that hopeful :/ A roller rink could be fun. But definatly just somewhere for under 25s to hang out without the pressure of getting drunk.
