Hello,

I am a guy from Germany and I will wed my girl friend in may. Now I am working on a suprise for her. She travelled to Taunton round about 12 years ago with the student exchange.

A family with the name Hall was her guest family. They lived in the old courthouse my girl friend told me. The name of the mother was Silvia and the name of the daughter was Clara. Clara now must be 24 or 25 years old. The father worked as an antiquary. Claras parents got divorced and moved to a new adress. This was the last contact/information my girl friend recieved from Clara.

My girl friend told me a lot of Clara and about the time she spent in Taunton. So, I will make a new contact between them.

Sorry, for my bad english, but I tried my best! ;-)

I hope anybody can help me to find Clara!

I have put the word out, fingers crossed for you, there was a Clara Hall from Wellington listed as running in the Taunton 10k last year. That is the next town so it could be her, Clara isn't that common as a name here.

there are a few facebook sites with people from Taunton I have asked if people know her, I tried looking in the local phone book but could not see her there,the running is the only clue so far ,I will try and contact the organisers and see if that gets us anywhere

The other thing you could do is put an appeal in the local paper Somerset County Gazette

WE have a result! Clara was the runner and she is keen to get in touch, if you accept me as a friend and send me a contact email I can forward it on to her, if you guys end up meeting,please post a photo on here at some point, it is a lovely story.
