A Westcountry flood summit is taking place in Taunton later this month.
News of the event follows claims from an MP that the Environment Agency was "negligent" in its failure to prevent a "catastrophe" in the region.
Three waves of flooding saw many businesses in Somerset waterlogged three times last year with farmland under water for months.
The countywide meeting will look at the impact, aftermath and future planning.
MPs plan to attend, including Jeremy Browne, Tessa Munt and Ian Liddell-Grainger.
The event will take place on Friday, March 15, and will run from 10am to 4pm, with MPs on hand from 11am to 12.30pm.
