Babies buried in the woods dead or alive. Meshak, a young boy not quite of this world, is given the job of disposing of the bodies. In his 'dead' state he escapes into a world with an angel. Alexander Ashbrook talented, privileged and passionate about music, disinherited by his father Lord Ashbrook begins a relationship with the beautiful Melissa Milcote. Watched by Meshak he wonders if she is his angel. Year 11 pupils present Helen Edmundson's adaptation of Jamila Gavin's novel.
