Taunton footballers to clean up their act

Wayne Rooney swearing to the camera has brought to a head an issue that has bothered many football fans for a long time.

Paulton Rovers at Taunton Town FC
I hadn't actually been to a football match for a long time and when I went to see Taunton Town at home to Bristol team Paulton Rovers recently, within minutes of the kick off ,there was a series of foul mouthed remarks being shouted by the Bristol guys.
I heard parents with small children around me tryng to laugh it off with their kids, they shouldn't have to do that. Maybe the stands wouldn't be half empty if this kind of thing hadn't become the norm, I hope the experiment by the FA works out. They are going to give foul langauge the red card and none too soon.
We seem to have lost the good sportmanship Brits were famous for, what kind of example is this to set our kids, allowing this kind of behaviour? Could you imagine a school party going to a match like that?
Taunton won the match but there was a scuffle at the end, read the match report on their homepage.
So well done the FA ,bring it on and lets have some proper sport back on the pitch.
Comments
As a non football follower I was taken aback, I had thought there was a fine system for foul language at least.
There was non of that when I watched the charity matches at the Armed Forces Charity Day fundraiser at Taunton Town FC last year.
Shouting and encouragement is one thing but there is no need for the 'C word' to be heard like that.
