Taunton Academy Performances at Wells Cathedral

On March 17th, 12 of our students at The Taunton Academy were invited to perform at the wonderful Wells Cathedral along with several primary schools chosen from around Somerset and Bath area. The massed voices choir performed three contrasting pieces of music to an audience of over 600 people including members of our governing body who were delighted to see the Academy represented in such a prestigious venue and occasion.

Several teachers from other schools commented on the inspirational performances delivered by our pupils as well as the way they conducted themselves all day in their perfect school uniform. The students have been invited back to visit Wells School to work with some of the pupils there which will be a real treat for them. Mr. Weston and Mrs. Motion were two very proud teachers seeing our passionate singers standing there singing their hearts out.
