They did it again, the show garden by Monkton Elm at the Taunton Flower Show was a real work of art and all the better for the fact it was a bee and butterfly theme with a nectar bar. Well deserving of the big gold medal. I particularly loved the fact that they had tiles decorated by local children at one of their craft workshops, all around the edge of the garden. The children who took part had all been given a budleia to take home as well and can claim their tile now the show is over. The three best were chosen for certificates. I love how much this company put back into the community, they are a shining example ,long may they continue.

Amazing gardens
I can't wait to see what Monkton Elm come up with at the Taunton Flower show this year, their display last year was incredible and a testament to what fantastic gardeners they are.
It is great to see a family business doing so well and putting back into the community as well.
It is a huge garden centre with everything could possibly want and a great place to buy gifts, I could spend hours there. A great place to take the kids too.By countrywalker at 00:13 on 14/04/11

Local gem
This place is huge and stocks everything! Really nice atmosphere to it, and the bloke I dealt with was a diamond - knew what he was doing and did it happily. There aren't enough places like Monkton Elm Garden Centre.

Real family Garden Centre
Monkton Elm know the feeling of family, they are a family run company who value the community they share by constantly putting back. Every year they give away saplings and potatoes to schools and community groups, and they support charities . There is lots going on there with a huge craft centre as well as the garden and pet side. Everyone is very friendly and helpful and happy to give advice. I was so glad to see they won Best in Show at Taunton Flower Show, very well deserved.
