Great for gifts
Checked out Hotel Chocolat today OMG! I nearly didn' t go in, it looked a bit posh and pricey but with a birthday to but for I thought it was worth a look. Serious chocolate dudes, I had never though much about the ethic behind cocoa plantations and I'd never seen a pod before, that was cool. What a great shop,definitely going back,so glad they came to Taunton.

Serious chocolate
WOW! Where have you been all my life Hotel Chocolat is my new best friend! This is real chocolate, just like in the film,(shame no Johnny though) They have these huge slabs on the shelves as well as the more dainty pretty chocs you want to give as prezzies. Check out the coffee bean pod from their plantation in Sri Lanka too. I'd never seen one before. It is always nice to see new shops opening in town and this one I am sure will do well,I love the fact that they are looking after the workers and bringing new jobs for local people here too.
